We booked on the information given on your site, then we read some reviewers comments which seemed quite cruel and left us a little worried however we discovered for ourselves that there have been new owners who have obviously made a lot of changes. The impression you get on arrival through the wrought iron gates and along the drive is of sheer luxury. The hotel is reminissant of another age, beautifully decorated throughout. The superior rooms have their own patio doors leading to semi secluded areas to which breakfast can be delivered, however the dining room which is also where you would go for breakfast is breathtaking. We only ate in on two evenings and both meals were superb and prices comparable with the top end restaurants in the town. The pool area gets the sun until 7pm ish and the sculpted gardens are well tended and relaxing. We don't speak Italian but the helpful and friendly staff had enough English to make us feel comfortable and understood. The whole experience was relaxed and charming.

As we arrive at the hotel, we are surprised to see such an amazing place nestled in the midst of olive groves. the location is in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the gardens and pool are well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. the breakfast selection is average, but the quality is good.
The wifi connection in the room was weak, making it difficult to stay connected.

The swimming pool was excellent, quite big for the size of the hotel, with no issues finding sunbeds. The beautiful garden with its trees, flowers, and singing birds added a relaxing vibe. The restaurant, although sometimes a bit crowded, had delicious food prepared by a talented chef. The coffee was simply perfect. The friendly and efficient restaurant staff was always helpful. Meeting the Estonian girl working at the hotel added a special touch to the experience. She was always there, helpful, and friendly, truly the spirit of the place.
The ambient barking dogs from surrounding properties were a constant annoyance, which affected the tranquility of the setting. The hot water not working in the late afternoon was inconvenient.
